Vacation

Hello! Is anyone there???? Does anyone still check this blog since I haven't posted in a month????

Well, we've been busy. I'll do this in reverse order since that is how I loaded the picts into blogger & I don't feel like rearranging them.

We are in Florida this week visiting my family. Yesterday we went to watch Reece play tennis and Sydney was a good sport. At first she just wanted to run out & say "hi" to him, but we convinced her that the flying yellow balls weren't toys & that Reece was busy.

I'll post more pool & beach pictures as the week goes on.

This was taken on Father's Day, which was also the last day of the Morgan vacation. Sydney has discovered black olives and is in LOVE! We grabbed a bit to eat at the Legends, and she wanted nothing do to w/ her PB&J after she realized that my salad had slices of black olive in it. She picked through the entire thing until they were all gone. I guess we're not strict on the table manners yet. Its just so cute when she keeps saying "owive" over & over again. I guess we're just suckers!

We managed to get one nice dinner in despite the 3 kids under 3. Even though we out number them, they have way more energy than us.
Here is Baby Drew! Sydney thought she was the cutest. Sydney wasn't too sure when we first visited the water park at the Great Wolfe Lodge. She held on to my finger for quite some time.
Then she found this really cool water table/waterfall thing, so she released her grasp. And these bubbly fountains were quite fun!And she was thrilled to turn this wheel, that dumped a bucket of water on her head-quite the surprise!Of course we didn't get any good pictures of her really enjoying the GWL since we didn't bring a waterproof camera. But, we did take a picture of this super-fast red water slide that we managed to get her down twice. Her eyes were as big as saucers, but no tears. The second trip I think she actually enjoyed.
This was Trevor's favorite place, the snake pool.
Of all the cool, kid-oriented events of the weekend, Syd & T-bone probably enjoyed this luggage cart ride the most. Well, maybe 2nd to the glass elevator.
There were quite a few parties at our hotel on the plaza. We confiscated a few of their balloons the next morning & Syd thought she was a little party animal as well.
And.....drum roll please......the traditional family picture we always seem to take as we're getting ready to head home. We have managed to spend a few days/nights at home in the past month, but not too many! Sydney still really likes to sit in the dolly stroller and get pushed around. The bars bend when she's in it because she is WAY too big!

And, I think we've eaten this 1 meal at home in the past month as well!
Right before baby Ella was born, Danielle had us over for a pool party w/ Brynn & Maddie. The water was a bit cold for Syd's liking, but she toughed it out for a few minutes.
I had to post this picture just to prove that I actually got all 3 girls looking at the camera at the same time! Its a miracle! Of course, as all good girls do, they are stuffing their face. Its the one thing that always keeps their playtime parties rockin'.

I took many pictures of our VBS decorations, but just thought I'd post this one. We transformed our entire church into a space training center. It was a 2 1/2 week labor of love in all, but it was a great success.Over Memorial Day weekend Sydney & I flew to Ohio to see family & celebrate my Uncle Alan's 50th birthday. Syd was quite the trooper on the plane, and we had a direct flight, so it was perfect! We even had an open seat next to ours, so we didn't have to share once we were up in the air.
We stayed at the same hotel as Grampy & Grally, and they spoiled her by letting her jump on the bed in her diaper & play with the remote. She was in hog-heaven!

Sydney also learned about trampolines when we were at Angela's house. We'd form a human ring around the tramp and let the little ones go crazy--and CRAZY they went! Sydney especially had fun with Rowan (Cory & Beth Hunt's daughter) on the trampoline. Syd started asking for Ro-Ro all the time, so they were buddies.

Felicia, Katelyn, and Haley were super-great helpers with Sydney. They just played, and played, and played with her for 3 days in a row. I think Sydney slept for an entire week straight once we got home she was so worn out, but she loved all the attention!
I spoiled her a little too by letting her chill on the big bed & watch a little Little Einstein.
