Trip to St Louis for Drew's Baptism

I'm still trying to figure out what went wrong with the last post. One by one, the pictures have turned into red "x's", so now not even I can see them on my home computer. My fingers are crossed that these show up.

Here's a quick shot of our cutie on Wednesday. It was warm & gorgeous outside, so I lathered her up in SPF and we jogged to the park. I just love this little outfit with the matching froggie on her butt.This morning was Drew's baptism. Jeff is her Godfather, so he stood upfront during the ceremony. She was so well behaved during the whole thing. Sydney, on the other hand, wanted to give a "shout-out" to her daddy when he was up front, so we played out in the hall for the most of the service.On the car ride home she really didn't want to spend anymore time confined to her carseat, so we got creative and made a little fort to play in. It was good for at least 20 min of peak-a-boo.

Then Syd had a good case of static hair from all the peek-a-boo.

We're all exhausted from the weekend and its lack of naps due to the crazy traveling & schedule. We're glad to be home & ready to get back to normal.

Sydney doesn't own much green, but she does have these wonderful panties to celebrate her Irish heritage!

This is how her room looks 90% of the time. She loves her books. If you thought books were just for reading, boy were you mistaken! They are also great for playing peek-a-boo, throwing on the floor, banging together, and sliding around on the carpet as hand skis.

Sydney's Walking

Here's some quick video of Sydney walking. She's been getting better day by day. She's walking the majority of the time now, and its so darn cute to watch! If she falls down, she crawls to something she can stand up with, and then she's off again.

Also, she's a blanket baby. Loves her blankie!!!! We're not going to let her take it out of the bedroom for fear she'll never part with it again. I can just see us taking it to restaurants, to the mall, to the pool this summer-yikes!

Sydney TV

Just a quick video of her tricks, kissing the bath frog, and nap-time (now known as play-in-my-crib time). These videos are from Jeff's birthday (2/19) so they are a little outdated.

I guess I'm limited to 2 minutes per video, so I'll get more on later.

Just a quick note....Sydney is walking!!! She started little by little after her birthday. She still defaults to crawl, unless she is standing up and you ask her to walk. She is happy to cooperate and the more praise she recieves the more she'll walk. Sometimes its just 2 steps & then a plop down, other times she'll do circles around the room before she tires out.
